CREATIVE CRAFTS

This page is a few crafts I've made with multiple materials and mediums.  Same ideas , new materials.

This ocean scene was purely made from cut paper. One of my favorite artworks from highschool.

This is an encaustic piece inspired by a coffee shop owner.

After a walk on the beach with my brother that turned into more of a scavenger hunt, we collected all kinds of interesting ocean shells, drift wood and dried seaweed. With a little creativity and a lot super glue we created sea life out of sea life.

This is a corn hole set I was commissioned to paint from a friend I went to college with. One symbolizes the Long Beach State Japanese koi pond and the other the pyramidal gymnasium on campus.

This is an image of an old rusty trike that sits in my backyard. This trike is entirely made of cut pieces of paper.

I was lucky enough to befriend one of my athletic advisors in college who had helped me so much throughout my four years. The least I could do was make her a gift to put up in her bare office. She loved elephants and some of the palm fronds that fell from the trees looked a lot like elephant parts to me. Long story short, I created this large elephant head  out of palm fronds and paint to bring life to her office wall.

I scored some old free wood on the side of the road one day. It had an awesome layer of cracked paint that I used as a background to make these sunflowers really  pop.

This image is my first ever mural painted on the side of a garage at a good friends home. It took me about two weeks to finish but I was kept good company by the family pet desert tortoise, Frank.

Another great piece of wood found in a backyard woodpile. Sand it down, add a few layers of paint and a gloss coat finish and you have a wedding gift for one of your dearest friends.
